Panda speakers

Hi all,

Got a 2006 panda, and I want to upgrade the 4 cardboard O.E.M. Speakers.

So first thing is does anyone know the max mounting depth and the max physical width of the 6.5 inch speakers?

Also I want to keep the original head unit, may add an amp later.... But can anyone recommend any good speakers.
I know it all comes down to taste, but I don't want boom boom if you know what I mean.

What did you end up replacing the speakers with? I will be looking at doing the same.
