Pancake day

Ha ha, trust Sammi to start a thread about pancakes  my kinda gal :worship: I'm trying to (can't say the word but you know what I'm on about) "eat healthy" so pancakes would be off the menu, but f*ck that if you can't have a delicious milk/flour based snack on it's celebration day, what's the point in living!
So when I come back from footy it's going to epic tossing sessions  :D

Unfotunately my tossing mishap ended up with me spilling my sticky batter on the kitchen floor :(

you thinking of the other yellow turbo cinq driver :p

as for tossing your pancakes.1st start with a hotlightly oiled pan.too cold a pan and the batter will stick to the pan.non stick or not!
a old style heavy pan is better but use what you got.
if your going for the thinner crepe type then just pour a small amount of batter in and spread it around by tilting the pan.
now for the tossing(its a male thing) work the pancake forward so its actually over the edge of the pan,or if its high sided then up the side.
this makes it easier to filp. also dont let the pan get to cold or the stick.
if your making a load just have squares of greaseproof cut so you can tipt the pancake on a plate and apply a layer of greaseproof paper.

i actually thought this thread was sammi saying she was going in for a boob job! :p

Had 3 pancakes last night with freshly squeezed lemon juice :yum:
