hi people

Just a quick question i just bought the sideskirts for my stilo and was gonna paint them my self so i went down halfords and looked at their selection of paints and they only had for fiat swift red and orange red. But i remember someone sayin swift red and tizinano red were the same so does anyone know if this is true? or any places i could buy tizinano red paint from ?

Thanks

Bob

Halfords have a color code thing on the shelvs, where the paint is, they match the manufacturer colour code to the code of their halfords brand, if you can find the colour code of your car (probably on a metal plate under the bonnet - it is on my car (which isn't a stilo) - or in the stilo brocheur) and match it to the colour code at halfords then you're in business.

If your considering painting them with spray cans, I would think again, it is unlikely you will get a good finish, lash a few quid on getting them done properly ;)

You may want to get 'em done by a pro (assuming your not, but you may be dunno), as the colour of your car is unlikely to match the original colour code now, and the paint will have to be mixed 'specially

Hei.

The primer can be done with a "spray-can" or what it's called at home. Then sandpaper rubbed twice. The color should be done with a compressed-air-driven spray-gun, and is a mix of color, thinner, and a "hardener" - difficult explaining (ask me i norwegian...).

My point of view.

Morten.
