Was driving around today when i pulled in to macdonalds for a bit of food, and when i turned my car off there was a loud creaking noise coming from under the bonnet.
Didn't dare set of again so rang my brother who came out when i looked under the car ther was water everywere mainly leaking from the radiator. Thermostat needle kept going into red so had to get towed home.
Got home the radiator was cold but the pipe leading into the thermostat was hot but the pipe below it that re-enters the radiator was warm (not hot), filled the radiator back up with water and used my hand on the top pipe to pump it through had to put nearly 1 and a half kettles worth of warm water, left it running for a while and needle went into the red again, felt the pipes and the radiator again and they were the same temps, could this be the thermostat sticking of the water pump or radiator??
Any help would be realy appriciated gna get parts tommorow,
