General over heating problem

right my problem is

car is fine going around the door the temp gauge is in the middle heater working perfect and as soon as i put my foot down the temp gauge rockets up and the heater go cold . soon as i slow down the temp goes to normal and the heater goes back to normal

any ideas?

that sounds weird. Air lock? theres a bleed screw on the hose between the stat housing and the bulkead if i remember correctly.

we bled the system and back flushed it no joy

so we replaced themostat (right mess on ) still over heating when above 2500 revs

i can only suspect that the water pump is faulty ?

on my other car audi if you look in the expansion talk you can see coolant coming in from the top pipe but my doblo no coolant is coming in from the top pipe

should there be a flow of coolant like my audi

other thing when engine is on and you try to bleed from either radiator or from bulk head water just trickles out but if engine off and under gravity it flows very fast

so my thinking is that the water pump has failed ?

anyone got any ideas

you're not losing coolant..??,
a Palio Diesel owner found similar with a cracked head..

its had a test to see if any gases are getting into system and that was negative

engine oil normal colour

i had my timing belt and water pump changed from fiat about 2 months ago

its going into them on tuesday to see what is wrong

Hoses OK? Check if you've got one collapsing.
