What would you do if?...

Driving along, go left at the 1st round about, right at the second, folowing a rover, im green, he's red, the two blacks are random oncoming cars, the red rover slams his breaks on at the point he is on in the crude drawing and then gets out and walks towards my car after a sharp stop by me, obviously done cos there is an oncoming car and i cant overtake to get away, and there is a car behind me so hard to reverse away aswell, big guy walking towards me menacingly, i was with my little bro and even if i wanted to "talk" to him and get beaten up wouldnt do it with my little bro so had to get away, **** myself! dont want a slating match on silly driving, want honest opinions on wat you'd do in a situation like that?

serious hat on now, judging from what i am told, if you have not provoked him in any way then all that i can think of is he has had a row with his missus and decides youre to blame, or he may just has a serious chip on his shoulder.
was you not tailgating at all?
this can blow some peoples fuses.
but that aside, a while ago i had a passeger with me and i was talking casually and explaining something with my hands as you do, when at the next set of lights the bloke in the car in front got out and kicked off with me saying, 'dont you stick your fingers up at me you cheeky b****** or i will knock your head off.'
what i am trying to say is some people just get angry on the road by the most simple things and react in a violent way which is unnecessary(pardon my spelling)

thats right, one coming in the other lane towards me, one behind me, and i dont think i was tailgating, i swore at somekids that crossed the road with my hands my lil bro just reminded me costhey crossed stupidly, so that might have been it

He was big, skin head, with army trousers lol
 
so what did you do, i take you still have your car!!! my mate was in birmingham when returning up north from a gig ,a fortnight ago and got car jacked, cheeky swines who nicked it told him to get decks and stuff out too leaving him stranded 300 miles away from home with 2grands worth of dj equipment on a hard shoulder.

mount the pavement, do in you wheels doing this but money can be replaced, your teeth would cost far more to replace

what happened in the end,.........or is it happening as we speak and you live in an alternate reality where time moves at 1000th of the speed of this one, this gives you time for the full explination and such like.
 
Thats harsh,

i put it in reverse hammered it backwards, swearved around the car coming towards from behind, j turned it around and drove off leaving him looking like a nob and my heart pounding!

i woudl stayed there if he came out that was me out of the car as well

Locked the doors, phoned for police and stayed put. If then he attacked the car you have a good excuse to get away. If anyone drives aggressively to get away from someone that looks menacing then we would all be in hospital after pranging our cars.

So your 100% nothing to provoke him was a gesture at some kids, there you go, provoked. you gave a sign of road rage of sorts then wonder why someone else responds with road rage.
 
If i was by myself i might have been more inclined to stay and do something, my attitude is wats the worst he can do, i'd hav his reg and that, BUT with my little brother in the car i am no way going to stay there, firstly he could hurt my brother, and secondly, even if he didnt touch my little brother wats my lil bro gonna do, watch me get pulverised, no chance, that would scar him for life! and in my experience, the BIGGER man does win, im a small guy, i know how to fight but have no body mass to me lol, and even if the guy didnt want to fight i wasnt gonna take that chance with my bro in the car!
 
Just get away, although I always find it handy to keep a rounders bat in the car under the drivers seat...just in case ;)

You done the best thing mate, ofr some reason, and myabe you will never know what, this man was obviously planning to re arrange your facial features at the very least. Maybe he thought you were somebody else, maybe he knew you were the boo chav, but at the end of the day he frove off and left him looking like a dick,lol..........maybe, just maybe I would have slowed down after driving off a little way, see if he spoke to any of the other drivers

Just remembered that last new years eve, I was drinking in a pub with my missus, totally minding my own business. Anyway, after the midnight celebrations, the landlord had locked the door, so you could stay in for more drinks but no others could come in, anyway some guy had been looking mean at me for ages, for no reason that I could figure out, but I just knew he was builing up for a fight. Anyway he came over and starts mouthing off ect. I didnt want to fight with my wife there, but there was no way he was calming down, so I offered to step outside with him.

He agreed, walked to the door, opened it and stepped out into the street........which is when I closed and locked the door behind him, with me inside, and the whole pub errupted into laughter

Half an hour later we left by the back door and went home:)
 
haha, now that i would love to see, smarts beat muscle 9 times out of 10 i believe

this is very true, some people have no regard for others safety and just drive like a **** all the time. i used to be hot headed when i was behind the wheel but now i dont let other people wind me

id of gotten out the car as soon as i saw his door open. when he starts mouthing off try and defuse teh situation politely 9 times out of 10 cos im 6ft 5 they usually think twice and get back n the car... did have a near punch up with an 45 year old on a push bike.. i got out the car and he through the bike at my car. likely it missed so i laughed him and said wats up he explained i nearly ran him over blah blah blah. he then grabbed my shirt and went to punch me.. pushed him against the car stood on his feet and pinned his arms down till he calmed down. traffic stood still for ages at teh lights :)

once he calmed down i explained how he didnt signal and i just presummed he was going down the road i was.. job done and left.

when i was 18 in my mates car we tried to brake test a pikie in a capri then chased him for 3 miles.. he stopped got out at the a junction never seen 2 young lads **** them selfs.. he was 8 foot tall and had an german shepherd the size of a truck... he punched the window we kicked the door at him and drove off :)
