*OT* - USB to IDE?

I want to mount my DVD drive in the dash for easy access, but the Motherboard is going to be further away than the IDE cable can stretch...

I'm sure i read somewhere that you can get something that will convert IDE to USB?

This way i could get a long USB cable to where i want it, then plug the DVD drive into IDE as normal...

Anyone know where i can get one or if they actually exsist...lol

Or any other suggestions would be greatfully appriciated

they exist, you can get usb bays which you mount your dvd drive or hard drive in. I think you can get just the leads too...
