I have recently aquired tomtom 6 after many happy motoring with TomTom 5 running on my PDA (MDPPC 150)
I have POI's installed into the map dir. Put on safety camaras from program called POIEDIT and pocket GPS world files.
Problem I have is that the maps slows down and jumps rather than running smoothly. Voices are not effected only the visual. If I disable the POI's then it will run smoothly again.
Is the problem related to having too many poi's installed (only the Safety camaras from POIEDIT), or could the problem be related to my memory card.
With tomtom5 I had half of my 256mb card free but with tomtom 6 and the maps, plus the poi's I have only got 12-14mb free on the card. It is a cheap SD that came with the PDA.
I have run out of ideas now and really think of putting tt5 back on though tt6 with the new maps would be great.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
