I saw from another post that you are in Zagreb?
Need some advice please bud.
Me and the g/f are coming over on 11th Feb for the weekend. I just wondered if we will be ok to book a hotel on arrival to Zagreb rather than in advance? Any suggestions for reasonable hotels to try? Must have a dungeon and wet room too (JOKE).
We plan to visit Plitvice Lakes too - is it far from Zagreb and what options are there for travel (hire a bravo? ).
I take it we should be packing for sub zero temperatures too? LoL

Can tell you this 1: U CANT rent a Bravo in my country cos. its German car love here (yuck) LOL
But U could find a stilo, punto or 155, 147 probably.

Cant tell U more about Hotels, try the sites (they have free rooms if Velesajam fair isn't active - an now it isnt).
Plitvice lakes are about an hour and a half car drive from Zagreb, if its not snowing and the roads are closed. The best way is to go whit a travel agency IMO (the roads can be a bit tricky here, + the site seeing includes everything paid)
The currency is Kuna and 1£ = 10,850521 kuna
(1 beer = 12 kuna, coffe = 6 kuna)
That is the best I can do, we live, go to holiday and everything here so I dont have more info
