Would appreciate peoples opinions.
Its time now to upgrade my phone, i currently have the original Nokia N95, which in my eyes looks better than the 8GB version as its a better colour (silver), has a camera lense cover on the rear and can accept an 8GB memory card anyway (also alot easier to user than carring a USB cable with you). Im just not interested in other brands.
I just can't see how the 8GB version is that much better than the original. So what it can multitask, not bothered about that. It can have 7 shortcuts on the screen, again not bothered about that. GPS in both N95's are not brilliant therefore i'll stick with my bluetooth gps receivers, i can't see this phone winning me over.
Can anyone explain whats so good about it compared to the original.
I dont know whether to keep my old one and sell on the 8GB version.
I've also read that the 8GB wont allow you to install your own apps, this to me sounds like bull. If thats true, how do you get TomTom to work then? Those with the 8GB version do you have access to the root folder?
The only thing i can see is to upgrade and sell the phone on if theres no big advantage over the older one. I've read all the reviews and they state its a excellent successor but in what way, nobody says. Theres a 8min youtube vid on ebay talking about the looks but hows it better?
Can you change the rear camera with one from the original N95?
OR
Do i wait for the N96 with Digital TV? But i'm assuming you'd need to subscribe to a service to use it?
