Pirreli P6000's are my fav, i have them all round, all be it i didnt get them very cheap so couldnt say no but they do grip very well and people are always saying what good handling my car has as standard

www.etyres.co.uk and paid £75 a corner with mobile fitting. Can get them cheaper from mytyres and find a local fitter but I didn't have the time.

I never scrimp on tyres. Only thing connecting you to the road at the end of the day.

No one hurt and didnt even hit another car luckily, had to navigate onto the hard shoulder from the fast lane after the tyre blowing

I recently fitted GT Champiro 55's to the Marea and I have been VERY impressed with them. They're a mid range tyre and I got them for £53.50 per corner from Kwik Fit, fully fitted with valves and disposal.

Driving back from Surrey on Monday in the rain, they were very assured and whilst throwing the car around the twisty country lanes round my village this morning, they stuck like **** to a blanket :)

However, if I had the money, I'd probably go for Pirelli's too. Although Al makes a convincing argument for the Dunnie's.

I think that tyres are one of those things that are down to driving style and personal preference. Horses for courses.

yea, blowout, only two were in the car, both perfectly fine, hit a barrier and even though he doesnt want to claim and loose his no claims he has to fix the barrier lol

re

thats another reason i like the F1's

i had a blow out on M1 coming back from a cruise, had just been doing shall we say over the speed limit but was 2/3 in the monring and no other traffic slowed down to 60 for some roadworks and as i changed lane i had a blow out but i just cruised to the hard shoulder on the sidewalls

also had a puncture on the last day of driving my brava and just drove 3/4 miles home on the sidewalls doign 25mph max and takign it easy and got home tyre was almost completely worn throguh but rim was perfectly fine!
