OT - Lads Holiday - Where to go?

Any advice on what the night life is like?
Is it full of English women? or is it more cultural?
Any particular place to stay?? We don't mind paying for a 5* in Turkey, lol.

2.5k - how the feck?

I went skiing to the French Alps this year and spent £600 and I was pissed going down the slopes most days. And to say that it's expensive there is an understatement.

When I went to Magaluff I spent about £250 and was totally hammered. lol.

hammered doesnt quite cover it! i was celebrating finishing my A levels (not passing mind, if id have known my results id have drunk more to drown my sorrows) ate in only the best (tic) places, drank like an alcholic fish, did all the trips etc possible (3 booze cruises in 2 days!) got into the few vip areas around, spolit some of the lovely females that were around a bit and generally acted as if i were rich (had saved hard to make sure i could enjoy myself and not have to skimp like sodding usual!)

oh and the worst bit of the holiday was when i got home and had to borrow cash to go get a full set of sti/d checks done privatley as the local clinic had shut down for a few weeks so i went private! lol

if Turkey is taking your fancy go for it, a holiday is a holiday and there will always be something around in any half decent resort!

Amsterdam.

Feck the beach, just kick back in a nice coffee house with some Moroccan Black for the afternoon, then mosey on down to The Banana Bar and Casa Rosso for the evening

Plenty of culture for the daytime (Rijksmuseum, Heineken Museum, Anne Frank House, etc) then back to the bars for some R&R. Check some of the clubs out too, then finish the night off by getting blown by a stunning bird for €50

Ayia Napa mate! theres alot of bassline gigs going off there this year! its all about party over there! u will love it trust me on that one!

Definately not going to Amsterdam - lol.

I was told by someone that there had been a massive crack down in Ayia Napa recently. Those kinda thoughts put me off going away to those destinations.

Been looking on Teletext Holidays are there really are some fantastic deals to be had. Thanks Andy

Gumbet is miles away from marmaris, but it is right next to bodrum.

Gumbet is ok apart from its quite small but bodrum is a little bigger with more bars and clubs and its just over the hill.

Go to a club called halikarnas in bodrum, make sure its the weekend tho otherwise its dead.
they also have this club cruise thingy, cant mind the name but a few folk that we were on holiday with said it was great.

Oh and be prepared for serious heat
