OT how the hell do i accses my router?

ive tried:
192.168.1.1
192.168.2.2
192.168.2.1
255.255.255.0

ive tried ipconfig through dos which braught them addresses up dam this is bugging me! my instructions dont say anything about this in there so i canty secure the network until i accses the router.

its a brandnew router so the ip cant of been changed.

does anybody know sumat i dont about this?

those numbers should work but if it's the first time you are setting up the connection you normally need to be connected via the cable to access the router

My thoughts exactly. If you're trying to configure the router for the first time and you are trying to do it wirelessly, you could be blocked if the router is using MAC Address filtering or you may have incorrectly keyed in your WEP/WPA/TPK code.

Default Gateway is your router.
