OT: How much to get something chrome plated?

my mum wants to but some roll bars/hoops for her mgf, she wants chrome ones but they dont come up very much. there are a set local to us on ebay at the moment but they are painted silver. would it be possible to get them chrome plated and if so would it be expensive?

you would have to ask them. It would depend on the material they are made of and what the condition of them is.

as above it depends on condition etc as to how much work they have to do to get them smooth before plating them.

i'm sure a guy i know who is into mg's said he could buy a front bumper bar for £70 that was a new part that was chrome?
