Hi All, Just wondering if anyone can help me. I have a laptop with an s-video out. i have connected a normal monitor to it via the vga out and i can extend my desktop to it successfully. I want to connect my tv to it via the s-video- i have it all connected but the tv is flickering very fast and i can just make out the"2" when i click identify,(its only a portable 14" tv), in my settings i click on the tv tab(see pic) and i can select different resolutions, but they all have 60Hz next to them, which i assume is the refresh rate. Is this why my tv is not displaying properly? if so is there any way i can change this or is it because my graphics card is ****e? Any Help Is greatly Appreciated, cheers

Yes the 60Hz is the refresh rate.

The problam that you are having is that the 14" television will more than likely be 50Hz maybe lower. This will cause the screen to flicker as it is trying to run it too high.

It is really designed for larger television like 25" plus that will be able to take the 60Hz needed.
