Just bought 4 Uniroyal Rallye 550 tyres to replace OE Dunlop SP220Es. The ride is now much quieter (Dunlops should have come with ear defenders). Looking at the DOT code on the tyre sidewall I see that 3 of them were made in the Matador plant at Puchov, Slovakia (DOT code J3) and the fourth came from a plant in Timisoara, Romania. Both plants are owned by Continental who also own the Uniroyal brand.
