I edited out the Landy's plate just to play it safe (one Disco write-off, one cloned plate I thought as well as legality, I'm sure leaving it would be fine but you know), forgot to do the van but seeing as he's an innocent party (as far as I am aware) it shouldn't be a problem.
When I first saw the Disco it was oversteering in a clockwise direction, but she was correcting it. Think she swiped the van as it snapped back into grip and it landed on its side. Not sure, I only saw the event leading to it and not the event itself.
There was a Volvo in front which I flashed before I reversed back to the scene, he appeared soon after and grabbed the kids and Discovery driver and sat them in his car. He had NHS gear on and probably worked at the hospital that is a 30 second drive from the collision. Because they were doing their own thing I stood and chatted to the van driver for a bit, made sure he was ok, he was on the phone when I first got there and I thought he was calling the ambulance but it turned out he was calling work to tell them what happened. He was annoyed as he finished work in an hour. The Sprinter took it well though, I'd estimate the Disco was doing around 40 mph on impact, the van somewhere between 30 and 40, certainly the Disco was much worse off, though it was on an N plate if I remember correctly.
Not a nice thought what could've happened if it hit me but I do wonder how I'd have reacted if it did happen.
