HGT
I have got EBC Turbo disks and greenstuff pads on the front of my HGT. These are the blind drilled / scored /vented jobbies.
Whilst there is no actuall improvement on the stopping power - there cant be because of the ABS - one hting I have found is the consistency has dramatically improved. The standard discs fuctuate widely in performance across the heat range and tended to fade towards the end of a blast.
I know that the first few "brakes" need to be at low speed to wake them up a bit but after that the rotor grip is steady up the range and consistant with the amount of braking force applied.
So, overall I am happier with the braking of my car now I have these fitted although my braking distance is no better.
I have also black stuff pads fitted to the rear on the standard rotors - I dont want it switching direction when I least want it too!!
As the fronts are so easy to DIY, why not give it a go - its on the guide how to do it if you are unsure and you dont need any special tools

and I am sure that Tom, I or any others could walk anyone through any concerns
