Ok, so i just phoned Drivers in glasgow they said they could do it and i would get 180bhp and +60lbft torque. they dont have a rolling road and it would cost £499 + VAT. what you guys think? i think its expensive!

That would be awesome but i couldnt ask you to do that. Thats too much, haha, my own mother wouldnt do that for me!! hahaa. im calling them now.

If they have an RR and plenty of experience let me know... I'm keen to try and avoid that 800-mile trek, if I can...

Just phoned powertune scotland and they said I would get 160bhp and +50nm torque. for £325 (not vat registered). what you tihnk? again no RR

Hard to see how they can "quote" gains without being able to substantiate them with a RR dyno run TBH but its your call, Red Dot normally charge over £300 but I do stand to be corrected on that, FF members get a group discount on a RR day. Also see what they will do for you post re-map, i.e. tweaks if you want or need them.

If your gonna be paying that much surely its worth it to pay for diesel to get down and £50 for a travelodge for the night to know that its going to get done properly?

GSR and red dot work together. If you go on a Fiat Forum rolling road day then a remap will be £200. Yes they are reputable, i have had my car done and majority of people on here that have remapped there car will of had it done by red dot/gsr

Excellent!! Ill go to them then. Done and done, when is the next FF rolling road day? and where? could be a good idea

It says they are in Stanford-le-hope or something, why people saying red dot is £300 if it says £245 there? Are they good/reputable?

That was my bad sorry, I did say I stood to be corrected...

In summary. If you go to get a remap from red dot/gsr on any normal day it will be £245.(or whatever it says on there website) If you go to a Fiat Forum rolling road day then it will be £199 and a bbq if the weather is decent. The next rolling road day is the 5th of october so if you want your car remapped for the best price possible book a hotel for the 4th of october near watford for £50-75 for the night and then head over to red dot first thing on the sunday morning so you can get on the rolling road first and get your remap done for £199.

Does that clear it all up?

Excellently!! But i dont think ill do the hotel just leave 5am on the sunday, get there for midday. then all the way back!

If you get there midday there might be a few people already there that you have to wait for to be done first. Like i got there just before midday at the last one and didnt leave till half 6 7pm time lol
