I have searched but can't find the info.

Fiat Ducato Euro 6 2.3 2017 150bp

I have been looking over the past service history notes and just before I bought the Van it looks like an independent garage has added 5w-40 oil (no other info on the oil) about 90 miles ago but the 2 services before done by a Fiat Garage used Magnatec prof S1 5w-30.

I am thinking about dropping the oil and replacing it with Magnatec prof S1 5w-30 or is 5w-40 fine for an engine with 60k on it ?

Thanks
Craig R

I thought Fiat specified 0w30 the euro 6, at least they do for my 2016 Ducato 2.3 150.

yes the Euro 6 twin egr is specced with 0w-30
Just bought 10l Fuchs Gt pro2312 from Opie oils via ebay £75.90(cheaper than their website)
Mahle OC570 oil filters £16.44 (online parts direct) used previously as well.
Fuchs is well thought of supplier on here.
The first hand books were printed with a reccomendation of 5-30 but needed 0-30 for the environmental stuff. I wouldnt suggest 40 at all at 60,000 miles only just run in many exceed 200,000 though not in the guise of a campervan.

Thanks Both for the information on the oil type and filter. I will be ordering some Oil next week and drop what is in the engine and class it as a flush. (Waste of Oil)

hummm Can't find your prices Theoneandonly on the Opie Oils ebay shop I can only find 5 Litres at £39.95 or 7 litres for £69.14 free Delivery. Do you have a link to the 10 litres please as I would rather pay 6 pounds and a few pence more for 3 more litres

All Sorted ended up getting 7 litres of Fuchs Gt pro 2312 0w-30 from Opie oils website direct for £47 and Mahle Oil Filter OC570 for £15.80 with a 15% off code and free postage. Happy with that. Thanks for the Suggestions and the correct Oil Weight.
