hi, i need to change the oil sump gasket and can´t find what the torque for those screws should be, any ideas?????, btw, i own a 1990, 1300 cc fiorino pick up
Use a new gasket, and don't put to much torque on the bolts, otherwise you will ruin the gasket...!
To be honest,I don't know if there's an official torque setting for those bolts, I replaced the gasket a few times, but didn't use a torque wrench.
OK, thanks.
But you really need a very good calibrated torque wrench to achieve such rather low settings, I think.
Did you use an original cork-like gasket?
You will have noticed it is specially prepared by the factory with some special sort of liquid like gasket to make it work/seal even better with low torque settings.
