Technical oil light flicker

Hi when I go for a drive and cars hot my oil light flickers when ur statioary once underload this dissapers any ideas what this is

Faulty oil pressure sensor, low oil, wrong oil, engine over heating but to name a few. Start with the most important, check the oil.

Just to echo Dc really, check the oil. Do it on a level surface once the vehicle has cooled. You don't really want any more than half way up the dipstick marker but it will do no harm if its higher (but within the parameters).
Do you get any oil warning messages from the ECU?

I have checked for codes and it come bk clear oil is clean and full up tried all the cheap parts it has 10.40 oil in it so not a clue and I don't think it over heats not had this multipla to long it has only started thought since I put whole new exhaust on as it failed on emissions
