Hi all,
I recently changed the engine oil & filter but didn't reset anything as I have done little mileage since the change last year. However, as I had the PC connected to the van via MES I thought I may as well reset the counters (service and oil for DPF vans). As a result I now have 'change engine oil in 7860 miles', before the reset it was due in 23,000! I have reset the counters without issue for the last 3 years so am wondering why this has happened? In the vans service menu it states something like 28,000 till the next service and similar for the oil so why am I getting the 7k warning? The van is a 2014 2.3 (130) Euro 5 pre face-lift.
