u will notice it a lot more in city driving. no real air flow at all in start stop traffic and all the heat from the engine will really start to show. the "might invest" should really be "will invest"

i only really do city driving, but in 4th gear before i put foot down no power from 30mph, now 30mph in 4th gear so much more acceleration in it compare to how it was is massive

Dont get confused between intake air filters and breather filters. The latter do nothing for performance and any piston blowby gasses dont get burnt so you actually lose some mpg. The amounts will be small but the pollution and smells are an issue. Avoid these like the plague.
Intake filters must be clean. Folks often claim their intake kit has given more power, but often they are just feeling the effects of a clean air filter. Fit one for the looks but any performance gains will be bonus you might see on a dyno.
Got it fitted and yeah its directly onto the throttle body and the bonnet shuts with out hitting it i will get some cold air feed pipes tomorrow for it

its your mind playing tricks the noise makes you think its better, unless your old filter was very dirty then a new standard filter would have given more gains.
also remember to tell insurance what you have done
