Hello i wondered if you can help me,i just got a quote via yourselves from seeing the advertisment above. My best quote so far is £758.99. I was hoping your company would beat this quote as advertised above but came out at £759.99.£1 more

I have a print of my original quote and just wondered if you can look into any further possible savings?
I did quote the ref number etc and quote ref given to my by chris knott is 4409.
Any help would be appreciated.

Was the policy on a like for like basis as Swiftcover usually have a very different policy cover from us!

Also, what was their total excess (compulsory plus VOLUNTARY)?

100 plus £250 for excess and was like for like with courtesy car and legal cover.

The swiftcover qoute also inc me to drive the stilo on commuting.

Your qoute only lets my named driver use to commute.

No a problem but thought it may make it cheaper.

Also to note,your rep was very friendly and helpfull on the phone. Top chap.

As with most people, we have been affected by the snow but most of our staff are in now though it took some time. We are due more snow in our location in the next few days but as half our staff are fairly local anyway, this shouldn't be a problem.
I'll let you know however if there are any significant changes re staffing!

Thanks to all who have rung us for a quote.

We have just calculated the figures for 2009 and they show that the average recorded saving we made for our new customers last year was 12.5% off their BEST quote so it's certainly worth a call!

We consistently average over 80% renewal retention as well (December was 84%!) so people are happy at renewal as well!

I am happy to say that Chris Knott managed to beat my renewal quote by 27 pounds (10.38%) with exactly the same cover/excess I had with Swiftcover.

and yes, I did check with all the search engines to see if I could find a better price than my renewal quote and it was by far the lowest.

I have just insured my car with Chris Knott, the guy i spoke to on the phone said my quote included a courtesy car but i can't see it written anywhere on my documents. Is a courtesy car offered as standard or is it included in their Accident management service.

Although on average nearly 1 in every 2 people who get a quote from us take out a policy, the number of people who ring us is quite low compared to the amount of registered users.

I realise that there are certain age and postcode limitations as stated in my original post in this thread (which are there to protect the scheme for the majority due to the high claims loss ratio's within these categories) but I would encourage you to give us a call if your car (or home, breakdown) insurance is due.

i asked how much it would change by when i moved to Sheffield for uni. your man said not much. It almost doubled.
what to me means that i am more than twice as likely to have my car stolen or burnt than commuting every day as i would have being insured to do.3

would be nice to go though phone records.

my current insurance on my Bravo t-jet 150 sport expires on 24/04/10 and i had been searching around for a while for the best price. With 1 accident in the last 5 years and 1 conviction (5 points for CD10 conviction) and with 4 years NCD that i wanted protected, the cheapest i found was 536.05 pounds from my current insurer Swiftcover. Some were just rediculous - Swinton 1650 pounds!!!!
Decided to test Chris Knott's claim to beat my best price. Was quoted 499.99 pounds, so pretty happy. Thanks
Would recommend that you try it, after all what have you got to lose apart from 5 mins on the phone. Will try them again when the Mrs has to renew her insurance on her Punto HGT Abarth.
