Hi
We have had our new Panda for a couple of weeks (love it BTW) but the odometer does not seem to be working correctly. According to our records (adding up miles for all journeys) we have done about 240 miles yet the odometer shows just 154. The trip meters have both been reset but I'm sure that A showed about 245 miles. Looking at the diary of journeys made, the fuel gauge and RANGE estimate, this seems about right. Could we done something wrong or is it possible for the odometer to be recording less miles than the TRIP meter(s)?
TIA.
J.

I've heard that there is a certain way to reset the odo to zero once only during the 1st hundred miles or so.
It's so the dealer can hand over a 'new' zero mile car.

Could you have inadvertantly reset your odo this way?

Just spoken to my other half. It seems that they were "having a play" with the trip computer so they could get to know how to use it (bit of a technophobe!) and they have "confessed" to (maybe) seeing it go back to zero but they didn't want to 'fess-up!) so you may have the answer there. I am going to log all journeys and cross-check with the odo each day for the next week or so to see if it is in step and am going to give Fiat (dealer and/or customer services) a call to see if they will confirm it. Many thanks for your help with this.

I noticed an 'H' on the left hand side of the odo meter when the car was new new which has now gone out - I think that is an indication as deeyup says that the odo can be reset. Mine was delivered with 5 miles on it, which I assume to be genuine!

This is looking like the answer. Reset both trips today and they are matching the increment of the odo. Seems we have "saved" 150 miles on the cumulative!

Cheers for the help.
