Technical OBD Scanner

Hey everyone,

Can any of you recommend an ODB scanner that works for a 2014 Fiat 500c 0.9L twinair? Also, a workshop manual?
Hi :)

I use multiECUScan software on my FIATs as its designed for FIAT engines it works really well, can do ABS AND PAS work too

Manual.. I dont think ANY manuals covers the TA motors

Ah sorry, I didn't realize you meant the software 😶

Yes, I can also vouch for mes, you just need to make sure you get a quality cable.
Chasing the OBD connection/ scanner and the software for it. A wireless one is preference so can be used with my iPhone. What cable would you suggest? Been looking and some units are $1k+. Was hoping for a lot cheaper 😂

I have just bought a manual for my 500. It covers the twinair engine too. It's in german so no problem for me. The information to electrics is basic so I use the e learn provided by the forum for additional information.
It's sold by Bucheli and well worth the 30 Euro they ask for it. Now I have torque wrench settings and descriptions on water pump, timing chain and cylinder head removal/refitting. Drivetrain, gearbox, steering and brakes are covered too.
For me these manuals are familiar as the Haynes ones are for you.

Thanks so much. I was looking at that one. Does it have pictures that can be followed and torque settings written in English? If so maybe I’ll give it a whirl otherwise it will be useless as I can read German 😂

It has pictures and drawings. Torque figures are designated in german but show Nm and degrees. The designations can be googled or asked here, I can help to translate if there are questions. For operations that are described you should understand the language or have someone to translate it for you. It's a technical book so quite straitforward. It's a pity that no official Fiat manuals are avaible, but i think that introduction of the twinair happened the same time that e learn went to password protected online service so there are no CDs any more that reached aftermarket. If not Bucheli but Haynes had the Twinair I had taken the Haynes manual as english is no problem for me.

Thanks..

But Haynes often only cover the mainstream variants..

So 4cyl petrol Manual :)

Yeah I’ve spoken to Haynes about it and they have nothing covering 2013 on or the twin air, so nothing for my car unfortunately. Might have a look if there are pics and torque figures. Thanks
