I asked Admiral the same and they said about 90% of companies do these days...

9 months cover for the price of 12. can see why the insurance co's do it
just got insured with them on that 9 months deal... great price for my new blitzenhinder, a 2.0 16v Omega!young drivers excess, though. im gonna have to keep some savings somewhere, because its £650
wait till you need to claim nud will cat A your car just for a small dent in rear quater and value it at a lot less than book value
i picked up the Omega on tuesday night, was dodgy runner. got it sorted last night, and insured this morning.
the car cost (inc parts to mend it) the grand sum of... £193. so if i dent it, its not a great problem ( tho i will be anoyed, its completely imaculate, less rust than the (rustfree) punto!)

quite good the 9 month policy... fast track to ncb... ive only been driving 18 months... but have 3 years ncb...... mmmm hows that work??? not that im complaining!!

3 years with some companys.been said so many times.
i would be wary of quoting that NCD without quantifying it to a new company
