Nanotechnology, directly controlling of matter arrangements on a scale of 100nm or smaller per 'part' for a manufacturing process or any other related process (such as atoms). That do for a rough defination?

I just dont see how you can wave it over food to see if a fly's been on it?

Saw on Gadget show where they did some radged thing with electrical products that had been in some microwave, waterproof and i think it cleaned itself....so thats already around I guess
