Nokia 5230 with B&M

My wife has just got a Nokia 5230, which pairs ok with the B&M in her Grande Punto Sporting, can make calls ok, but the B&M voice says the phone won't allow the contacts to download into the car so she can scroll thorugh them to make a call.

So how do I get the phone to send the contacts to the car, can it even be done with this phone? Worked fine with her previous Nokia 6300 btw....

I faced the same problem with my Nokia 5230. Heres what i did;

1. On the B&M navigate to the settings-users-add contacts. once here it will show contacts 0
2. on the phone go to the contacts list. mark all. send as business card to B&M

Contacts should start copying.

Make sure the contacts are on the phone memory and not on the SIM, this is Fiat's advice for all Nokia Phones

Thank you. The trouble is when I try to connect then reconnect the connection dropped, the contacts still won't transfer across. Then I had to try and manually reconnect each time even though I had set the phone to automatically connect.

I tried my HTC Desire and it worked perfectly.

Any further ideas?

With my Nokia E51 to send contacts the phone does disconnect from the Blue&Me. You then send the contacts you want to send (or all of them), click something and then it reconnects.
