I've had the car for about 3 years now, and when all is ok I love it. However, it just isn't ok enough really. Hardly a week goes by without something needing attention. Just snapped another front spring (lasted 18months!) Tried stronger lowered springs 35mm, but hit everything higher than a pebble ! So back to standard. Other faults/niggles since ownership include:

Replaced brake light switch
Replaced reverse light switch
Replaced fuel return manifold
3 front springs replaced
Tyre life on front hopeless compared to previous cars
Headlight adjusters don't work
Door wouldn't open from inside
Seat belt tensioner replaced
Air bag light of course (at least 3 times a year)
Pedal rubbers last 5 minutes
Seat material poor quality, (showing white through black cloth)
Paint worn at rear wheel arch

I can go on, but you get the point :(

The engine is great though at 92,000 (y)

Compared to my last car (Citroen Xantia 1.9TD) it has been poor really.

Had that about 9 years, did 160,000 miles and only had a problem with an ABS sensor and central locking (but WD-40 sorted that).

So though I've perservered I think, it will have to go in the new year. Think a Honda Accord 2.2 CTDi is on the way!
