General Next Panda Adventure......

It only cost a few quid to put my 18yr old daughter on the panda last year so ask Jim first, it can be insured for 24hrs if needs be. When/where is it comming back as i was planning to pop down to greet it, I'm also insured for any car x3 as i've got three fully comp policies running  so if it's too expensive give it a thought.

If it's not till sept I'll be away

It's expected to be early september, Jim says the docks can hold her for up to 5 days which gives plenty of flexibility. If you fancy greeting her, maybe we could have a convoy back to mine then go back and pick up your Sisley? 3 Pandas in my drive, how good would that be...

What do you think? Anyone else want to welcome Sylvia back? There's a nice big car park next door as one of my neighbours is a wine shop. :)

Edit: Or you could come straight to mine and then we pick her up and come back. Much simpler.

But being insured TPFT on mine means I'm not insured to drive other peoples' cars.

I would read the small print on your current insurance. My TPFT covers me driving other cars, yours may too, it might save you some money.

Alans right about having yourself added to Jims insurance short term, it can work out quite cheep (£20 for 3 days cover on my mates AC cobra :D , happy days).
cheers Damon

Oh, wow...

Stuff happening and I'm missing it!

Sam, have you checked with your own insurance yet?

Got an email from Derek in Ashford....

Hello Mr Magill.

I will be handling the Customs Clearance etc of your car when it arrives back in the UK ( provisionally 4th September). In readiness for this, there is a Customs form C179B in the attachment that I would ask you to complete and return to me at the earliest opportunity. I can use a copy but the original is better if possible. Your car can be cleared through Customs without any duty or import vat payable with this completed form. If you have any questions about the completion of the form then please feel free to call me. Our address is;

Phoenix Aircargo,

So it looks like the 4th then....

Alan would that be any good to you?

This is sooo cool:D

OH!

Where abouts in the Arctic are you???:D

Jim

Norway - Lofoten Islands...

Now making my way back down the country... Visited the Arctic Circle centre earlier on way down. In Mo I Rana tonight... They`ve a ski jump here, but don`t think the Focus would fit on it... On another boat all day tomorrow... Done 2,500 km so far... Not quite as impressive as your 8,500 miles across America though... But the roads are much better there... Glad now I didn`t bring Dez cause they drive like maniacs here, and we nearly got wrote off on our first day when the car overtaking us hit the grass verge and missed us by a miracle . He almost rolled it right into us...

Saw a nuovo panda yesterday :D in Guacamole Green. It was German... Count for Fiat cars now up to four...

Norway, has got a disproportionate number of people who really don't seem to care about dying prematurely... I guess when there are so many things around that'll get-yer given half the chance... it's really not worth dwelling on.

Great people, and a little zany

only meal i have ever had where i was advised "if you find something hard in the meat, you've food the bullet... " ... and the unforgetable hunting photos "you have to hang it upside down and get all the blood out immediately".
