Hi all, car is a 2017 Abarth 595, bought as an alternative to a Toyota Aygo as a car to tow behind my Motorhome, my Z3 got written off by a foreign lorry driver and decided not to replace it, keeping and maintaining four vehicles was becoming a stretch so opted to replace the Aygo.
Pure chance on the Abarth just because it is the sportier version of the light weight 500 suitable for towing easily.
Amazing little car cant stop grinning when solo and sport button pressed, its only the 148 bhp version but still quick enough to spin the wheels from standstill in the dry.
Be interested to know if anyone has had theirs chipped....

Mine was originally 135 Hp and now 170 Hp with (more important) 300 Nm. The IHI turbo spins easily from low revs. 80 - 120 (or more ) Km/h in third gear is so much fun! And I think I can spin the fronts in 2 and 3 as well.

Hi A3jeroen, did you get the remap done by a full on remapping company or did you but a 'plug in' type, have read all the pros and cons for both types but not actually had any contact with someone who as actually had either.
Many years ago did have my Fiat motorhome remapped and found it very much better getting up hills etc.

Pretty much agree, but on the abarthisti forum there seems to be a following for a plug in box so wondered if I was missing something.
Have a near company called superchips which seem to be among the better ones so will look at them again.
Thank you for your input.
