Snow here will not be passable in any car, let alone a panda. And yes, Ive seen the videos, yes they are excellent, but snow on my paricular road forms very very deep snow drifts, big 4wd tractor got stuck trying to reach my neighbors defender 90, also stuck. We almost never get snow, but when we do, youre not driving anywhere.
Really the only reason I want the 4x4 is becasue of wet roads, steep hills and junctions all mixed into one. A real PITA when trying to make progress in an fwd car. If you dont believe me, next time it rains, find somewhere where you can safely stop on even the slightest incline. Turn the steering wheel slightly, doesnt have to be loads, maybe half a turn. Now try and pull away briskly, you'll just spin that inside front wheel forever, until you either unwind the lock or lift off the power. Neither of which get you going in the direction you want at the speed you want.
