General Newbie saying hello

Thanks for all the replies.

I have no air conditioning or windows logo on the dash. No climate control.

But i do have cornering lights.

I will take a picture of my dash tomorrow morning and chuck it on here to see what you guys think..or see if you can get to the bottom of it as I am clueless!

I am guessing it's an easy model from the description that has been given?

But like i say, I will definitely get a few pics of the inside tomorrow and try a work it out. It is kind of like a krypton factor task.

It should definitely have air con (a button with a * on under the heater fan dial) if its an Easy or GBT trim.

However, cornering lights are fitted to all 2012 Puntos with front fog lights as far as I know.

I'd put money on it being a GBT without Brio Pack.

You know, you might just be right. Now that I think about it, was BRIO pack even available that early ? It's entirely possible, it's just been a factory order with Front fogs, and nada else.

Mine is a weird spec. GBT with basically lounge spec (full leather, etc), yet no fogs, no CC, and no auto climate control ! Does have B&M&Aux, and AC. Manufactured Nov. 2011, reg'd March 2012.

the USB port would be in the tray - roughly where the shiny white spot is @ 2 - o'clock on the gear knob

I'm not sure about the aircon..as I've got climate..Totally different lower console,


do you have a USB port anywhere..??

No USB. It'd be visible in either of those pics, if it was there... so from that we can only conclude that it indeed does not have B&M / USB&Aux port.

The aircon is the middle button with the wee star

Edit: now that I think about it, if i remember correctly, you used to be able to get B&M without aux. Try pressing the media button a few times to see if it comes up with Blue & Me.

If not, stick with the parrot

I don't have a media button on the steering wheel or dash!. I think the best bet will be to just stick with the parrot. It's doing a good job.

Thought I would add that the dealership have run a wire from the parrot set up down the back of my dash and out just under the temperature dials....on the end it has an ipad/iPhone connector, aux in port and a wire for samsung phones....all bunched together quite discreetly.

The media button is on the left hand side of your stereo in the pic you posted. If you have B&M, it'll cycle through to it. If not, it'll just be Radio/CD/Aux(which is probably not wired up) and back again.
