Afternoon Qubistas, my Panda 100HP is getting too small as family gets older and I'm seriously considering a Qubo Trekking as a good value, practical replacement.

Any opinions, recommendations, tips or things to generally consider much appreciated!

Hi minardirule,
Great idea I would have thought........had mine since 2009, 1.3 MJD diesel, Dual Logic Gearbox. Had a few issues, nothing really bad, no plans to change until 100,000 miles on the clock, currently 20,300, so way to go.
Great on fuel, cheap to insure, and service only needed every two years....goes really well, gets better with more milage......whats not to like.
Plus I love the high driving position..........

Cheers Qube O.

Have a test drive, and thats it.....your hooked.
Just remember if you only do short trips only DON'T GET A DIESEL

Thanks for the feedback guys, the test drive is part of the problem, trying to find someone with a current 95bhp trekking to drive is a nightmare. Local dealer has one but not PDI 'd so had to drive a mylife

My 75hp was a real 'slug' for the first 10000 mile, now its really improved, and goes great. 10-15 mph above the legal limit no problem, uphill and downdale, fully loaded with 4 adults and luggage. it pulls away well, even better if you manually select the gear change. So happy with mine........
Agree with 2668 GRIFFIN, if its going to be used on a lot of short runs........forget the Diesel.
Take care, Qube O.

There will be the usual commute to work but then I do regular 200 mile motorway runs every couple of weeks, why the recommendations to avoid the diesel for short journeys?
