General New Stilo Model names

Hi

I've been reading some posts in the Technical section, and see that some members refer to a Stilo MW "Actual". I'd be interested to know what model this was; in the UK we have an Active, Active Sport, Active AirCon, Dynamic, Abarth and I believe we may soon be getting a Stilo Abarth GT (5speed manual).

So what is this "Actual" model????

The "actual" is only for Stilo MW it has nothing to do with us.Check the Fiat site for more info.

In Italy "Actual" is the entry-level version...

This version exists also for 3-5d...

From the least equipped to the best...

Actual - Active - Dynamic...

I think that UK versions are better equipped than Italian versions...

If you want compare them...

Yeah, we have a more demanding consumer market, that's why, and because we pay more for our cars, ripped off is the term you're looking for!

Savi, tell me price of your Stilo, and I compare it with the same Italian version...

UK version are better equipped... i.e. In Italy Dynamic don't has Dual-zone climate control as standard...

UK cars tend to be better equipped in order to "justify" the high prices. You know the sort of thing, fit aircon as standard and charge £2000 more when (say) in Italy the aircon is an optional extra of £250.

However, I do find it odd that in Italy the climate control is an option. After all, I'm sure on the average day it gets a tad warmer in Torino than "sunny" Manchester (with the opposite effect here of having to wait for 5 minutes before the system fires up - with some lame excuse about protecting the compressor)

The list price for my 1.6 Active Sport was £11600 when I bought it. Of course I didn't buy it from FIAT in the end and bought it cheaper at www.jamjar.co.uk only fools pay list price for cars in this country!

In Italy for dynamic and active versions is standard the manual climate control...
Dual-zone climate control is optional for 430 € (295£) (Euro is strong... lira was weak...)

For Actual (entry level version in Italy) manual A/C is optional...

Roby what are you saying man?its supposed to be much cheaper and much better equiped the cars in italy you dont have any transport costs as we have here in Greece i get the 1.2 5D Dynamic with all the toys 2002 model for 15.000 the 3D 1600 dynamic with all the first stuff they used to have costed 16.000

What FIAT improved removing some extras that was in 2002 models?Only the price?The quality?Or both?When i say the price dont think something big think about 150 euros difference from the 2002 models.Hope its not the price.
