Hi,

I'm a first time user on this forum. My wife has just bought a second hand 2004 New Panda 1.2 Dynamic. I am extremely impressed by the whole car, the space, build quality, comfort, ride etc. i can see why the press have heaped praise on it. However, why on earth aren't the door rubbing strips standard? For a city car its got to be a must. this leads to my question:

Does anyone know if the roofrails (becausethey look good)and side door rubbing strips can be fitted reetrospectively? If so is my local Fiat dealer likely to be the best place to get them? Or are there any other sources?

Has anyone else fitted either of these retrospectively??

Thanks for your help.

Steve C,

I have got the Brio catalogue but they're not in there, only the transverse roof bars. Where did the panda catalogue you refer to come from? Do you mean the sales brochure??

As it happens I went to a very friendly and helpful Fiat dealer who said that the roof rails can be bought sperately, but not as an "accessory" as such. Buying all the parts seperately costs £176 + VAT.

I'd be interested to hear about the Panda catalgue? :)

i orders the side rubbing strips on ebay from poland £40 including post

Do you have a link to where you bought them from on ebay?. I had a look but couldnt see anything.

Have you received and fitted them yet?
