not sure,i know the tipo had galavanised body panels,one good thing with new cars they don't rot, not like ten years ago and older all cars seemed to rot.my mate runs a motor factors years ago he used to sell tons of body filler now next to none.
i think what you may have seen is part painted, the entire body should be fully galvanised, but lately the engine bay is left unpainted
its still been treated though so shouldn't rot
When I bought mine, I was told by the fiat salesman that Pandas come with fully galvanised bodies.....Hope so !!
I was told the Cinqs had fully galvanised bodies but boy they rot! Likewise, the Tipos rust underneath as good as any older Fiat did. It doesnt stop rust, just slows it down.
