Hi there, my son has just bought his first car (Punto ELX 3 door 1.2 8v 2000) and we're giving the engine a bit of an overhaul (needs a new head gasket mainly).

I've just posted a thread in the Punto Technical section because I'm not sure I've found the correct engine number, or indeed if we have the original engine in the car - what do you think?

Found the engine number and everything matches - now to get ordering - phew
