Now, I'm currently into House and minimal mainly, however (although not to a lot of peoples taste), when I listen to music that I used to listen to many years ago such as:

I realise how **** this music I now listen to is.

Such a good song (the video I posted). Take a chance to listen to it. Very heavy 'screamo' yet melodic.

My dad was a biker in the late 50's, early 60's, the typical looking "Greaser".

I was born 1967.

By 1981 because of my dads influence I was wearing denim and leather and had long hair. I'd purchased my first motorcycle and was listening to bands like Motorhead, ACDC, IronMaiden, Black Sabbath. Bands at the time that were classed as "Heavy Rock". The gradual expansion of "Rock" music into many different genres like "Metal" etc is still happening today. I'm unsure why these different genres appear because its all still Rock music to me and I love it, all of it.

By the time I was 20 bikes and rock music were a way of life for me. I worked away from home a lot back then, if it was in this country I rode my bike to the jobs and listened to Ozzy, Judas Priest, Saxon while I worked.

Bikes and Rock music will always be a big part of me, deep down its who I am.

Of all the different genres of music I've encountered Rock has out lasted them all and long may it continue.

I do listen to this style of music very often. Whilst this song isn't top of my list of favourite, the solo and general guitar is good, pity the voice is just that little too coarse for me. It like a cross of Eternal Tears of Sorrow and Bullet For My Valentine.

A mathcore (who comes up with this sh*t?!) band that is awesome is Rolo Tomasi. I would post a link but on mobile. Another one worth checking out is iwrestledabearonce, despite the stupid 'no spaces iz cool' name.
