well, they kept up with stus abarth after skeg :D

and thats the same engine (y)
No it's not. The Stilo Abarth is a 2.4 NA, as opposed to a 2.0 Turbo/NA in the Coupes.
Also, the gearbox doesn't keep breaking on the Coupes ;) (One of the few parts that doesn't break often  )

i thought thet were based on the same block or something, thats why Ben R was interested doing a hybrid :chin:

well still 2.4NA would be faster than a 2.0NA, and the Cinq kept up :p

also, you can get manual abarths :nerner:

Probably, I know a few drivers down here who will at least keep up with you at 160mph+ and 0-60 in the 3-4sec range.

What exactly has that kinda power? And in what shape of car?... cause as im sure your aware air resistance is everything at that speed.

Ross

@ Serin - Alex's Cinq kept up to around 65/70mph - at this stage, I can just keep it going in 3rd, and leave him for dust! Good job no 20VTs around though ;) - and you were sitting in a 1.2 Stilo, so any action you were involved in disappeared after a second :p

@ H - granted, my gearbox went [the actuator part of the selespeed] - BUT I got mine fixed FOC under warranty :D - has yours expired? ;)

I reckon on a twisty backroad some of the turboed Centos would give a Coupe a fright. :)

I know on one of the very rare occasions that my Uno was I running gave my Step-dad a big shock when he was driving the Coop  :slayer:

Will have to show him how a Y10 fairs against a Coop one day :D

Helz I was just thinking the same thing

I know there are a couple of very quick uno's....

The warranty, or the car? I sometimes think it's both...

Well, we certainly managed to revert to FCCUK-style off-topicking very quickly!

Does anyone want to talk about potential forum hosting any more? I have one or two contacts I could talk to. Hosting it alongside/integrated with this forum is certainly an option I guess. And yes, I'd be prepared to contribute to something - I haven't yet, although I know I should have, it's just something that always slips my mind.....

You haven'r seen REAL off-topic-ing until you've seen the Leisure Lounge section of this site! :D

I'm disapointed. I was expecting a better rise out of the Coupe boys than this. :( :)

We don't have to worry about speed, we have style :nerner:

Still no answer the the 3-4 second 0-60......... Was that with or without traction control? And 160 in a car that looks like its boasting part of a brick wall up front (no offense, i actually like the cinqys) then i would love to see the bhp figures to produce that. Civic type r's and the like only knock out 140/145 so dunno how a cinqy is gonna get 160+.

I was in bed and then working, hence why not answering - I don't spend my life tied to a PC. My ex's Skyline import (can't recall the exact spec but isn't a UK one anyway) or current squeeze's over-tuned Escort Cossie (yeah I know it's still a Ford) are some rather nice examples. I never said I was talking about Fiats did I
