Technical New battery yet nothing

Have just had a new battery for mot that is fully charged yet no power is getting to the starter or the rest of the car, there are no lights on the dash, the airbag lights are beginning to fade.

Have tried another battery and a jump start but nothing, it's almost like there's no battery.

The car is a 2009 1.2 eco

have looked at fuses but none seem blown

Any advice would be appreciated

Have you checked the condition of the earth strap?

yes i've checked the ones in the engine bay and they all seem good

Connect jump leads to the battery clamps. DIsconnect clamps from new battery.

If it works your new battery is faulty.

If its still dead, you have faulty heavy power lead (red or earth). Should be easy enough to spot.
