ah the taste police...sadly lacking in the modern world...all the debate about chav 'wedding cake' cars, why bother being annoyed by them? its a 1.1 or 1.2 with 16s from halfords that were bought on finance, no back pressure and no cold air feed, possibly the slowest vehicle ever created, was following a lexarse clio today annoyed the hell out of them by picking a distance of 3 car lengths and just staying there...for about 8 miles while they screamed their lowered, so bouncing and huge wheeled so tramlining as well, clio grande (1.2 60 bhp) round a back road, every time they got to a straight they straddled the centre line to stop me overtaking, totally missing the fact that I wasn't actually trying to just maintaining the distance...waited till an up hill bit of dual carriageway and then waved goodbye

Bit like the kind of driving i do. Village near us there is a straigh bit, but its a 30mph zone. Usually find most mornings whilst im doing 30mph i will have some 'trump' exhaust mobile scream past me in an all show and no go car.

get a few miles down the road and onto a 60mph straight road, build up a little bit of speed there if i am still behind them, 4th gear and its bye bye mr :D

so why did you do this son:confused:is it that important to you:D

Nope, I suspect it's to show Chavtard that sticking tat all over their car is pointless and doesn't make it go any faster ;)

oh! i see:confused: very mature:eek:.... this is just the sort of thing that causes accidents. while agreeing sticking tat all over cars doesn,t look that good... eh,.. it still doesn,t give anybody the right to drive eracticly in front of so said cars.laugh all you want but accidents are caused with young drivers like this sort of thing:eek: i,m an old git & see chavy cars now & again on the roads :D... i just have to smile & think what on earth inspired him to do that to his car:eek:.... this sort of thing doesnt make someone a bad person... its just thier taste in car decor is somewhat limited:D... ah well rant over & out:p

does anyone hate those loud exausts on cars ,

if it was a nice ferrari, or at least a reasonably powerfull car i wouldnt mind, but on a 60hp car they dont exactly go that well :D

Since when has overtaking someone on a dual carriageway been "driving erratically in front of them"?

i used to have said loud exhausts on the punto :D

they were awesome - in town that is. great fun in tunnels, great fun anywhere really, except on open B-roads and motorways, where it would just highlight the car's inadaquacies (namely, lack of power:p)

it was waaaaaayy to loud, too. passengers said it was completely acceptable, but it was too loud for me.:(

i kept swapping the standard for the custom one, cos i kept changimg my mind about awesome noise vs comfort and stealth :p

AND to any haters, i did it for MY BENEFIT only. the noise that i got out of the last incarnation of my custom exhaust was pure music to my ears - it would burble, and growl, and bark, it really sounded like a supercar (yeah i know, a bit sad, but at least an affordable one)

quick enough, too. i had it RR'd and it had a nice power and torque increase over standard, so at least it wasnt ALL show :p
