Technical need new exhaust

hi all
will a brava 1.8 exhaust fit the 1.6 marea i know it has one more box in it. but apart from that it looks the same. as anyone bougth one of those exhaust's off ebay £73 brand new just need to fit it. and do u need to take the handbrake cable off to replace the system.

the near side handbrake cable needs to be reomved, very easy to do if you loosen the adjust nut off on the handbrake then remove the heat sheild to allow the near side cable to be released from the rest of the cable.

the weekend chassis is slightly longer than the brava, so i would expect the rear mounting point will be a little too far for the exhaust to reach. it should still join your cat ok. so if you think you can adjust the mount then it should be no problem. welding a few inches of steel bar onto the mounting pegs on the backbox would probably do it.
