need help punto 1.2 8v

hi all i have a punto 1,2 8v on a 53 plate and there is an annoying whistling noise when started from cold but as it warms up it faids and goes quiet i thort it was the water pump so changed that and it is still doing it the oil and water levels are fine it dosnt overheat also it kangaroos aswell any help would be fantastic thanks

sounds as if it's drawing air somewhere,

cracked / perished hose is a favourite,
