need help asap

hi people, i have a problem and wundered if you could help me

i lost the only key i had for my mk2 punto, if i get an ignition barrle from a breakers, can i get the key recoded to my car, if not does anyone know what i should do??
i would apreciate anyones input

hi your best bet will be to buy the ecu and change the locks make sure you get more than 1 key and the all important red key and all the chips in the key i bought mine off ebay for £35 and it took me a couple of hours to sort out (fiat wanted £600)

mk2 puntos dont have a red key

you will need to get the ecu locking barrel and keys and everything else you need off the same donor car to fit it to your car for it to work

you should be able to get fiat to reprogram you a new key with the correct codes but its not gonna be cheap

If You have only 1 like - then this is the exact reason why you should have 2!!

Get a Local Auto-Sparkie to Program another Key or 2 into the car
Bite the Bullet now and pay however much
Or next time you might not be lucky and have to pay Alot more for 2 new keys

2 Blue Keys are very important - espically if you ever sell the car!
