And what's the stand to Gavin's right? Norwich something

Norfolk/Norwich classic car club or some such name. A really nice bunch of guys, raffling off an allegro vanden plas that one of them had got cheap and fully restored. There is the option of donating it back into the charity if you don't want it when you win

Nice one. I might track them downa and see how local they are. We're any of them fans of the Panda's?

Don't be silly that's almost a Rover they have with them(y)

Yes they were a great bunch.

Norwich Classic Vehicle Club who meet at the Anglian Windows social club. (y)

Right from the moment I got there & asked them if they had any idea where our stand was (it was under their borrowed Transit truck!!), they were a laugh. John even found me a huge Fiat dealer sign (I think people were surprised how much room there is in a 127!) & a 127 rubbishy (but  and very likely unique) advertising sign. :worship:

John with a Vauxhall Ventora (very nice car, and has a nice R12 too) may be interested in the Luton show Jon Most Easterly Pandas - I've invited him onto our stand rather than sitting on his own so he may fancy a convoy. (y) I've got his phone number Jon, so can always contact him if need be.

And YES they do ALL like Panda's - all of them had taste you see (the vdp Allegro was only for charity :D ).

John particularly loved the 127 as it was his first car. He told me his 2nd was a Strada and asked when I'd last seen one - nearly fell over when I showed him a pic of mine. :)

So Palio (is it Gavin) on the right, dad in the middle and whose the one wearing a jacket (must be a professor). I'm starting to learn whose who now

Maybe we should make up identity cards so everyone knows who we are? Something like the following, they could be a trading card game too! :ROFLMAO:

I've just had an email from the organisers thanking us, which is nice. :)

They said that there were 12000 visitors which I think is pretty spectacular for a new show from a standing start. (y)

VmanC the show is ON for next year and will be bigger. Dates are 28/29th March 2015, so maybe Pinky can go back up restored? Panto to finish first please (Brooklands/Castle Combe/Scotland all need him!) :worship:

AndyPanda4x4 if you keep to the same date next year, this show will be a convenient couple of weeks beforehand! (y)
onemanmade you've got the name tag making job, but what's a pokeyman? ;)

Well done guys full marks :)

Gav - I think it'll have to be one of those things that you need to keep reminding me of! Like reminding Alixcompo about the bus rally :D

OOOOOH that's the weekend of my wife's 50th birthday (31st), I wonder if I can move her birthday celebration to the week after

Oh come on, where's your romance gone? A few days in a luxury hotel in Birmingham (won't cost you extra, as it's already a double room!), planned excursions to the NEC with live stage shows & resto demonstrations, candlelit Beefeater dinner, and all the weekend before her birthday....
