Naughty electric windows

Hi I hope someone can help me.
My drivers side window has stopped responding to the switch entirely but you can still hear the relay click and the drivers side switch for the passenger window will wind it up but not down.
I have tried the pushing the window down while someone presses the switch to.no avail.
Any advice is welcome.

Hi

In my punto I found the cables had stressed and fractured , where the wiring loom goes into the door near the hinges

A few blobs of solder restored normal service

Possible.. Check the cables near the hinge
