Technical Mystery Wire!

First time poster hope one of you can help !

Had my suspension replaced last week since then there has been a banging noise coming from the front of the car - opened the bonnet and only thing I can see is a loose wire - can't see where this is meant to go at all as anyone got any ideas please !

Wire comes from drivers side all round the hood but can't see where it is meant to connect too ?:bang:

That plug appears to be just 2 pins..
So a basic connection.. the yellow tape looks like a repair..


More importantly

Take the vehicle back to who did the suspension work.. it needs checking over.. as something could be dangerously loose !!

No warning lights on that is what is hard to understand!

Driving lights..?

The loom is probably clipped into place .. with only a shortish amount of options where this could plug in

If everything is working it's probably for something that's not installed on your car
Most cars have several unused plugs around

If it was unused.. why would they make a temporary repair?

This truely is a mystery wire! with it being clipped into place i thought i be able to quickly locate where it came from but looked and cant see a thing lol :bang:

Some factory wires have the yellow tape around the end
My Tipo certainly does






Also have you check the sensor on your bonnet latch not something you normally look at

Seems a bit odd I assume its to hold the plastic cable trunking in place that protects the wires
